Why do they call her senior uncle… shouldn’t it be senior sister… or more appropriately junior sister? since well she is a disciple… not an elder. she calls the other junior which has been a disciple longer (as far as we are lead to believe that is).
me thinks translation issue. like i get MC calling her that…. cause he makes that joke, but other sects? not so much.

It’s a generational thing, bai two or more generations above them her being is disciple means she’s only one generation below him hence she’s senior to almost everyone else
