He Lin knocked on the European-style bedroom door with dinner.

He heard the sound of paper rustling inside, mixed with faint, intermittent coughs.

Seeing that he had eaten so little, He Lin advised softly, “Patriarch, you should at least eat a little more. If you don’t want to eat this, I’ll get the kitchen to make some soft food again.”

“No need.” Ji Lingfeng casually rejected. “I don’t have the appetite.”
